This time next week I will be well on the way through my self-organised charity ‘fun run’ which will encompass the whole route of the Teesdale Way – in a day! From Dufton, on the Cumbrian border, and the source of the River Tees, my route will continue across fell, moorland, riverside paths and roads for approximately 95 miles until I reach the North Sea at the South Gare Break Water, north of Redcar. I have then been encouraged to continue on until 100 miles is complete, which I plan to do! I am aiming to complete this challenge in under 24 hours to raise funds for The Team Luke Foundation.
My personal goal is to raise £5000 for the Team Luke Foundation, and with kind sponsorship, I believe we can make a significant difference.
The Team Luke Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential resources and care to children and families affected by life-limiting illnesses. Through their compassion and dedication, they have made a profound impact on the lives of those facing challenging circumstances.
