A message from James Carver

A very Happy New year to you from all of the team at Carvers and thank you for taking the time to read our newsletters. We hope to keep you up to date on goings on in the local property market and other local news, plus hint and tips for moving home plus much more.

2021 proved a challenging year for many, with Covid still at the forefront of our lives. We would like to thank all our past and present clients for their support in what, for us, has been an extremely busy year.

During 2021 we celebrated our 30th year in business, having been set up by Nick Carver in 1991 from the same office we still operate from on Duke Steet, Darlington. After an incredible career, Nick retired from the business this year and my brother Henry was appointed as a director, alongside myself and Gordon. Together we look forward to continuing to work hard for our clients and deliver the expertise and local knowledge that our company is renowned for.

2021 also saw us launch of Carver Lettings, headed up by Jemma McCready. We are delighted to be able to offer our clients a first-class lettings and property management service and look forward to helping many more landlords and residents over the coming years.

We have also launched a number of new homes at the exciting site at Oak Meadows development in Middleton St George and we looking forward to welcoming you to the show home onsite in the New Year.

Social media has played a big part in our property marketing this year, with fellow director and my brother Henry Carver setting up and creating some great content of some beautiful properties on his Instagram page @henrycproperty. We are seeing a number of direct enquiries from reels of properties that have been showcased and we can attribute 3 property sales which have come directly from Instagram. So anyone wanting to get a first look at new properties, @henrycproperty is a must follow.

Wishing you all the very best for 2022 and thank you once again.

James Carver

Director
