'The Carver Cake Off'for Comic Relief

As most of you know, here at Carver Residential we are always keen to support charities and have recently raised money for

great causes including Ken Longstaff Fund, Herriot Hospice and TFM's Cash For Kids to name a few. This month we raised

money for Comic Relief by doing a 'Wear a Wig Day' and 'The Carver Cake Off'! All the staff donated money to wear their wig

and everyone looked brilliant.

Five members of the team also took part in 'The Carver Cake Off' and raised money by selling cakes to their colleagues.

We had some wonderful entries but the top spot went to Claire after a vote on Facebook and Twitter.

The Carver Team managed to raise &70 for this wonderful cause, which will contribute towards Comic Relief

projects throughout the world.

FEATURED PROPERTY - Ivy Hall Farm

An excellent opportunity to purchase this fully refurbished detached period traditional Teesdale farmhouse, believed to have been constructed in circa 1693, with later additions in 2004.

The property has undergone extensive alterations by the current owners and must be viewed internally to be fully appreciated. Ivy Hall Farm is sold together with a one bedroomed self-contained detached holiday cottage/granny annexe. There is a large purpose-built steel-framed building divided into a substantial garage/workshop and loose boxes, with tack room, kitchen and WC. The property overlooks the adjoining land which extends to approximately 12.498 acres, which runs down to and fronts the River Greta. The property also has the benefit of solar panels. The village of Bowes provides a primary school, public house and church, and is conveniently placed for anyone requiring access across the Pennines via the A66 leading to Scotch Corner (16 miles). The market town of Barnard Castle is within four miles driving distance. Both Richmond and Darlington are also within easy reach.

If you would like to view the property details click here or if you would prefer to view the video tour please click here.
